There was a Balloon
in the soaring sky
afloat
inflated with Air, like
sunshine on a rainy day, or
laughter in a quite room
flying high, and
colors to celebrations
There is a balloon
in the drooping sky
Quite
deflated of air
hung like a wilted flower, or
weary as a shadow at dusk
lying on the floor, and
colours faded
